Recently we've been given the ability to select multiple channels and adjust the volume levels. The main reason for me would be to see the peaks and ranges (my snares are usually so loud) but if made functional could allow for fading in and out of songs or any other use that we could think of.Ħ. (See attached images of my quick mock ups). right next to the Spectrum EQ button under the master fader there should be a Sound Wave button. In addition there should be a Headroom item somewhere in the menu that allows the option to change it from -6dB to whatever we want.ĥ. I propose that it changes to "Headroom -6db" that when enable automatically goes to -6dB.

Let's make the "Dim -20dB" button that is under the master fader more flexible. That would save time from turning all 8 effects on for each channel.Ĥ. All "On/Off" button at the top of the FX section of each channel in the mixer. The oder of channels should be the same for all 3 sections (Mixer, Rack, Seq) and when you change the order in one of the sections, it applies to all.ģ. This is a request/suggestion I've been wanting for a while, adding digital volume/loudness meters next to the faders.Ģ. This was badly written, and I wish there were better names for things other than channels or busses or tracks. Here is my complete list. This way, it’s super easy to add another track next to the one where all the drums are sent and then do some parallel compression, or something. If I moved the fourth mixer track over two spaces, it would change the output of the FPC in the channel settings window to 3, and my drums would sound the same. If I put a whole bunch of effects and stuff on mixer track #3, and then moved the fourth track one space to the left, the third mixer track would become the fourth, but the pad in FPC would still be sent to the third, and then I’d get mad because my drums sound bad all of a sudden. If I open up FPC’s channel settings window and send it to mixer track #2, and then set the output offset of a pad to 1, the output of that pad will be sent to mixer track #3. FPC’s multi-outs work by offsetting each pad’s output from the mixer track that FPC is sent to, in the channel settings window. The mixer tracks that individual instrument channels are sent to will change if you move stuff around, buuut multi-output plugins (or at least FPC) will not change which tracks the multiple outputs are sent to. Using this to re-arrange stuff could make some things easier, but it could also screw everything up and be frustrating. Pressing Alt+left arrow or right arrow with a mixer track selected will move it around. Finding these things is a great joy to me. There are a lot of features and functions in FL Studio that aren’t immediately obvious and aren’t mentioned that much, but are very useful.
